Mom and Dad Owl Reunion

There I was, just minding my business and taking out the recycling, and suddenly noticed the owl parent nuzzling one another. On the wires directly across from our driveway. Fine, I'll get my camera...



They are not usually so much out in the open but I'll take it. Baby was still back over the house calling away. Nice to see the adults together again, especially since it gives a good sense of size. The female owls are larger than the males so it is easy to tell who is who. No pun intended...
