Juvenile Bald Eagles

Took these shots a couple of days ago but felt that making them part of one of those posts would diminish them. I wanted a showcase for our new kids.

The young eaglets are growing fast. When they first were being seen, one was definitely larger than the other. Now, you can hardly tell them apart. You can see the differences in their facial and tail colorations. But, oh, how handsome they are becoming.

I was glad to be there a bit later in the day and had no other disturbances so the eagles were a bit lower in the trees and caught the light so nicely.

Any day now, they will be heading off to other perches and, eventually, off to a territory of there own. Enjoy those kids while you can. They grow so fast.
