Owlet Update

Not a lot of time to do any real birding as we had chores and other schedules to keep away from the house. However, I could hear that familiar call directly over the front door. After a few days spending time a few doors down, the owlet has returned to its home turf.



I still have yet to get a great sunlit shot of our baby but this is getting pretty close.



My parents were in town and were joining us for this evening's events so it was nice to be able to point out our owls while they were right overhead. I continue to wait for a better lit scene.
